And just to follow up on this amazing micro-knitter, here's how she does it. I can feel my thumbs getting fatter as I watch! HERE

  1. Now if I could only find my reading glasses and learn to knit more than stocking stitch..I'd have a new hobby ...lol just kidding. She is impressively talented. It's quite stunning!

  2. Hello....it's lovely to have you back. Just found you this morning. I was checking you most days for a while and then just every now and then, so only just caught up ! (Was on the verge of emailing !!)
Glad that you are all OK. We went to NE in July. Stayed in Lesbury in a cottage ( it was the wet week) and met up with our old friends from when we lived in Morpeth. Not seen anyone for 20 yrs ! We took the dog and it was a great week in spite of the rain. My husband would have spent the whole time in the bookshop ( Barters) in Alnwick if I had let him ! We saw the water gardens at the castle. They are quite splendid. Have you been? The little one sounds as if he is coming along nicely....my middle son used many odd words for things, and used the wrong consonants in words or left them off altogether, and at around 3 only myself and his older bro could understand him. I had some guidance from a speech therapist and by 3 and half he was fine! He is now a proud man with a first baby on the way ( in March).
The tiny knitting is fascinating. Don't think I shall try it though !!
